This year, Alicante is hosting the International Congress on Web Engineering (ICWE 2023), which brings together more than a hundred academic researchers and companies in the sector, such as Google, from 17 different countries, with the aim of discussing “Web Engineering in the age of Artificial Intelligence” and sharing the latest advances in this area. The congress began this Tuesday with a series of workshops and will continue until Friday, June 9, with presentations and demonstrations.
Today the inauguration was held at the University of Alicante and the program for the remaining 3 days of the congress was reviewed.
Experts such as Omar Benjelloun (software engineer at Google), Nuria Oliver (co-founder and director of ELLIS Alicante) and Schahram Dustdar (Professor of Computer Science at the TU Wien and director of the Division of Distributed Systems Research in Austria) are participating in the congress.
