Today Alicante Futura held a working breakfast at Softtek’s offices, which has been informative in nature on the moment of opportunity of the Blue Economy in the European and Mediterranean regional context in which to explore the role and situation of Alicante and its blue ecosystem in this scenario of sectoral specialisation. A meeting chaired by the Councillor for Employment and Promotion Mari Carmen de España, which was developed around a successful case of Cluster and / or Blue Economy Platform (Balearic Islands), in which to learn about its development and be inspired from Alicante, we have the participation of Ms. Iolanda Piedra, President of the Blue Economy Cluster of the Balearic Islands, Fernando de Rojas, Director of the Inter-University Chair of the Blue Economy UMH-UA, Antonio Sánchez Zaplana, President of AlicanTec and other local stakeholders.
