City councilwoman of Employment and Promotion of the Alicante local govermentn, Mari Carmen de España has visited today the Economist College of Alicante. During the visit, that has been developed with the dean, Francisco Menargues, the councilwoman has presentated the differences iniciatives and activities that Alicante Futura is carrying out to become Alicante the city reference of undertaking, technical innovation and the new urban economy, generating opportunities for all the business ecosystem of the city.
During the presentation, the councilwoman Mari Carmen de España, highlighted the importance of the work that Alicante Futura is developing as a tool that positions the city of Alicante in the spotlight for attracting and retaining talent, as well as for the different investments that help to transform the productive model of the city, laying the foundations for the economic future of the people of Alicante: “Alicante is a city with a long tradition of providing professional services of excellent quality, with a sectoral commitment to innovation and the talent to which economists, from the exercise of your profession, have also contributed in a very relevant way”.
Moreover, during her speech, the councilwoman also highlighted the role of economists as an essential sector that has accompanied the group of companies and projects rooted in the traditional economy of Alicante for decades, being also “an active part of these processes in recent months, who have joined a multitude of technological nomads who decide to settle among us, enriching our local ecosystem and generating opportunities, new investments, job creation and wealth”.
This visit, which has been an opportunity to generate synergies, as well as exchange opinions, has paved the way between both entities for the closure of future collaborations.
